Highest audio quality for analog and digital signals

In the space of only one PCIe slot width, the Seraph AD8 MKII provides the connection for 32 audio channels. The balanced analog inputs and outputs are located on the motherboard. The digital AES/EBU connections, on the other hand, break out on a D-Sub connector without further active electronics. Consequently, it can freely be placed in the computer’s case, separately from the motherboard. Or it may take any place next to other PCIe components with the slot bracket.

With 115 dB dynamic range and a THD+N of less than 0.001% at -1 dBfs, the analog connections of the Seraph AD8 MKII play in the top sound league. A hefty level of +15 dBu provides enough headroom at the inputs and sufficient signal at the outputs for any connected device. Analog and digital processing is 24 Bit and 192 kHz throughout, with no restrictions on the number of channels.

Switchable Samplerate Converter (SRC)
The SRCs, which can be switched on via software, allow any digital input signal to be fed into the sound system regardless of samplerate and clock settings. Thus, even without separate synchronization lines, any digital devices may be connected effortlessly.

Realtime Mixing and EQ
Each input signal of the sound system can appear on up to 8 mix sums and be played back via any number of outputs without delay. The BEAST Mixer also adds playback signals from any DAW latency-free. Inside the hardware and for each signal, sonic processing is available with up to 4 parametric EQs.

Expansion Options
If several Seraph are installed in a computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system to an ASIO application. In the Beast Mixer, up to 8 audio signals can be exchanged with other Seraph or Clara sound systems and thus be integrated for the use with ASIO.

In the space of just one PCIe slot width, the Clara Dmaj provides the connection for 32 audio channels. The AES/EBU inputs and outputs 1 to 4 as well as a word clock input are located on the motherboard. Connectors 5 to 8 break out on a D-Sub connector which has no active electronics. Consequently, it can freely be placed in the computer’s case, separated from the motherboard. Or it may take any place next to other PCIe components with the slot bracket.

Precision Clock
The internal clocking of the Clara sound system has an amazingly low jitter of less than one nanosecond. This is beneficial to the audio quality of the system and that of any connected digital device. Often the clock of the Clara D is many times more precise than the internal clock of the connected device and thus makes the purchase of a separate clock generator unnecessary.

The highest Audio Quality
The Clara Dmaj is the elegant partner for pure digital signal processing of many AES/EBU signals. HD audio quality with 24 Bit and sample resolutions of up to 192 kHz guarantee a pristine sound. High-quality sample rate converters provide flexible clock management while maintaining a full dynamic range of 144 dB.

Sound system with a +
The “+” version includes an extension that adds a word clock output and 2 MIDI inputs and outputs to the sound system. This expansion card is connected to the sound card via a ribbon cable and can therefore be freely positioned in one of the slots of the computer housing.

Up to 512 bi-directional channels, long distance connectivity through low cost network cables and infrastructure, sample rates up to 192 kHz, auto-configuration – all these advantages of the Dante protocol are now available with the Clara E at an amazingly affordable price. Unlike virtual solutions, the Clara E offers the security of the redundancy of 2 separate network connections and, in conjunction with the reliable PCIe interface, latencies of 1 ms.

Fast and Reliable Multi-Client Treiber Suite
The continuously enhanced driver includes multi-client support for ASIO 2.2 as well as multi-channel WDM audio / WASAPI with the lowest latencies in all software environments. This ensures that multiple audio applications can access the sound system simultaneously via the same or different driver interfaces.

An optional plug-on module serves as a bridge to the classic audio formats and expands the Clara E with AES/EBU, ADAT or analog interfaces. In the routing and in the Beast Mixer the signals of these interfaces are available as well and can thus be integrated into the Dante network.

Up to 256 channels, integrated clock synchronization, stable connections over long distances, samplerates of up to 384 kHz, lowest transmission latencies – all these advantages are now available with the Seraph M2 at an amazingly low price. In addition, the Seraph M2 is available in two versions: with optical SC connectors (M2-F) or coaxial BNC connectors (M2).

Compatible to all MADI Formats up to 384 kHz
Both versions of the Seraph M2 have two MADI inputs and outputs, realizing a different number of transmission channels depending on the samplerate. 224 or 256 channels are possible at up to 48 kHz, depending on the connected device. By default, each doubling of the samplerate results in a halving of the channels. At 384 kHz, this ensures the transmission of 32 high-quality audio signals.

Advanced synchronization capabilities and MIDI via MADI
With the optional MWX Extender the Seraph M2 and M2-F are extended by a wordclock output. This allows the synchronization of external digital devices by the sound system independentl of the MADI connections. In addition, the MWX Extender has two MIDI inputs and outputs. Finally, MIDI signals can be embedded into the MADI signal via a DAW and thus be transmitted over long distances.

Real-time routing and signal control in hardware
A comfortable user interface is available for convenient latency-free routing of up to 128 input signals to different outputs as well as for adjusting their respective volume. It is part of a comprehensive driver suite optimized for Windows systems and minimal latencies in any ASIO DAW.
