TotalMix FX works with internal 48 Bit Fixed Point resolution – the highest accuracy possible, built into an audio interface´s digital mixer.
Control Room
TotalMix FX comes with a professional Control Room section, including several configurable monitoring (headphones) mixes, Talkback, DIM, Mono, A/B Mix switching and CUE mixes.
The Control Room section works perfectly with the optional ARC USB (see below).
Snapshots & Workspaces
TotalMix FX comes with Total Recall: definable Snapshots store all current mixer settings for recall. Fader, mute and solo groups allow pro mixing.
Additional workspaces can store and recall the complete mixer state.
Loopback
Loopback routes an output of one software program, and send this back as an input signal for a different software program. It allows to create a mix of input signals, playback signals, or both, and send the mix back as a stereo input for recording. It simply works like a cable from an output channel to an input channel.

The optional ARC USB turns TotalMix FX into a professional hardware monitoring controller.
The USB-wired Remote Control allows a quick access to the most common functions of TotalMix FX – especially the luxury Monitoring Bus Section – and is fully programmable.
Thanks to the direct integration in the built-in digital Fireface mixer, your setup does not need any additional monitoring controller or lowers the audio quality by inserting an additional analog system into your monitoring chain.
The ARC USB is working out of the box with Windows and Mac OS X. Immediately after you connect the ARC via USB, TotaIMix FX will react to any given command – Volume for Speakers or Phone, Mono, Snapshots, Talkback, Dim … – it just works.
